Community Relations Manager

Afia began as a full time team member at the original CCR Timonium. She has a background in Social Work as a graduate of Morgan State University. Afia has been a lifelong athlete as a former basketball player who turned running as a punishment into a source for coping through her mental health journey. Afia is the founder of Soles for Souls, a certified level 1 RRCA coach, lululemon Ambassador and yoga instructor. When she’s not being a movement enthusiast or community leader you can find her grilling steaks, enjoying warm weather and water and spending time with loved ones.
