Charm City Run Summer Speedwork Sessions

Description

A program to safely add or increase intensity of speed/track workouts to a runner’s current base in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Key in-person workout (every Monday) will include interval training, tempo runs, fartleks, hill repeats, and strides to build power and endurance. Science-backed education will focus on defining the physiological markers of performance, biomechanics.

Criteria for participation: To safely add speed workouts to your training, participants should have a consistent weekly mileage (minimum 8-10 miles a week) or be building back after a short (1 month) recovery or break. Should be able to easy run or run-walk 3 miles or 30 minutes.

Sign up for the entire series or drop in! The series will run from 7/6 to 8/31/26.

Requirements
