Now navigating her newest rewarding challenge as a “New Mommy\,” she brings the same record-breaking energy to the DMV running community that she once brought to the track.\nAlex Germano is a geriatric physical therapist\, CrossFit coach\, and proud mom of two. With 17 years in CrossFit\, she has built a vibrant career coaching athletes\, caring for older adults\, and teaching across the country. She is driven to create meaningful work while staying present in her roles as a mother and military spouse. \nRae Granofsky is a once a self-described “couch athlete\,” Rae transformed small\, tentative steps around her neighborhood into ultramarathons through the power of community and persistent growth.
