This race is perfect for runners training for a fall marathon as it lines up well in training blocks for Baltimore\, Steamtown\, Chicago\, Marine Corps\, Richmond\, and many other popular races. The course is loved for its gentle downhill profile\, 6 aid stations along the way  (PLUS indoor restrooms at Monkton Station!)\, and tree coverage almost the entire way.
